Andrea Kimi Antonelli tightened his grip on the 2026 Formula 1 World Championship with victory at the Miami Grand Prix, his third consecutive win of the campaign. The Mercedes driver now holds a 20-point advantage over teammate George Russell in the updated drivers' standings.
Antonelli led home a McLaren double podium, with Lando Norris and Oscar Piastri finishing second and third. Russell recovered to fourth in the closing stages, overtaking Max Verstappen and Charles Leclerc to limit the damage to his title challenge.
At the top of the order, Antonelli sits on 100 points, with Russell on 80. Ferrari's Charles Leclerc is third on 63, 37 points adrift of the championship leader, while McLaren's consistent scoring has Norris on 51 and Piastri on 43. Williams added to its tally as Carlos Sainz reached 4 points and Alexander Albon 1, while Alpine's Franco Colapinto scored again to move to 5. Audi's Gabriel Bortoleto is on 2, with teammate Nico Hulkenberg yet to score. Cadillac's Sergio Perez and Valtteri Bottas, along with Aston Martin's Fernando Alonso and Lance Stroll, remain point-less after Miami.
