Nikola Tsolov took a razor-thin Formula 2 Sprint victory at the Miami International Autodrome, edging Laurens van Hoepen by just 0.1s after a frantic final lap. The Bulgarian prevailed on the 2026 Miami Grand Prix weekend, with the sprint staged in support of Formula 1.
The win nudges Tsolov’s championship advantage from seven to nine points. Alex Dunne completed the podium after joining the lead scrap in the closing corners.
Nicolas Varrone and Joshua Dürksen finished fourth and fifth, respectively. Martinius Stenshorne, Gabriele Mini and Dino Beganovic occupied the remaining points-paying places.
Noel Leon set the fastest lap and, by finishing ninth, banked the bonus point awarded for doing so inside the top 10. Rafael Camara, who arrived in Miami second in the standings, finished tenth and left the sprint empty-handed.
